I am using this book for a graduate-level class (maybe that is on my university) and it looks like someone who has worked in the industry for less than 5 years wrote it. It takes the basic principles of communications and does a poor job of explaining them. It does not expand into any detail and it makes me think the authors have been in a classroom a little too long. The questions, exercises, and mini-cases are poorly put together and do not relate to the covered material half the time.
The only thing they have going for them is that you will be forced to buy this book for your class.
Pg. 87, Exercise C, Optimal? Was that in the question?
I’ve never seen this before, but this book will not open OR download on the Windows 8 version of Kindle. So I bought the book using my Surface Pro 3, but can’t open it. Will have to buy the hard copy, which I’m not that happy about.
The textbook is for very basic and beginner course. The end of chapter questions and hands on labs are useful.
